Magazine article titles are brilliant for blog topic inspiration. Based on the seed of an idea that you find in a magazine article, do some research and come up with an interesting post of your own.

Quora is a popular forum where people discuss anything and everything. People post questions and let others answer them. Do a search on your industry and you may come across some very interesting questions which you an address in detail on your blog.

Topsy

Topsy searches the social web. It analyzes the online chatter about a particular topic and returns results that will tell you which topic or hashtag has been the most popular in the past 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or all time. If you find some topics that have been popular all time, chances are that your readers might also find them interesting.
The above are just a few ideas. There are many other ways in which you can find topics and also enhance blog content. An active blog with great content can significantly boost your company’s bottom line.

  1. I didn't think about searching quora or topsy. Will definitely check them out. I join other blogger groups on Facebook that are similar to my target audience and I get ideas and also learn from other blog posts.

  5. I think the biggest challenge in finding content - is not finding the content, but being confident in yourself to write something. There are millions of places to get an idea. Magazines are often overlooked (great forgetting title ideas). But I think once you get clear about your main blog objective and what you want to share with readers, then you look for ideas that relate to what you want to share. Informative... thanks!

  14. I can't stress enough on the importance of finding a good topic for your blog. For me it has to be something that interests you. You don't have to be an expert at it, but it must be something that you know a lot otherwise, when one writes, it becomes as if he / she is beating around the bush. It also does not become engaging when that happens.

    I take my time in finding a good topic. I travel, I go out. I read. I interact with others. I learn from the experiences of other people. And when it's time to write about them, I don't rush myself to finish writing about the topics. I'm not a pro-blogger so there's no need to rush publishing them. - RUSS

  19. I used to try to write on trending topics and I realised that it didn't exactly work for me and I find it a chore to do that after a while. After giving up and writing what I love, movies, everything worked out for me and I never lack a topic ever since!
